The Mustang Drive-In Theatre is offering a reward of $1,000.00 leading to the arrest of anyone caught filming without authorization.
It is illegal and unethical to steal the work of others. We need your help in stopping this crime. The Mustang Drive-In will not be able to offer the quality programming it has in the past, if video/audio piracy is not stamped out. Please help us by being our eyes and ears.
Recording Devices are not permitted in this theatre. Under the Criminal Code of Canada {Sec432(1)}. A person who, without the consent of the theater manager, records in a movie theatre a performance of a cinematographic work within the meaning of section 2 of the Copyright Act or its soundtrack
(a) is guilty of indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term of not
more than two years;
(b) In addition to any punishment that is imposed on a person who is convicted
of an offence under this section, the court may order that anything that is used
in the commission of the offence be forfeited to the Courts in which the
proceedings are taken, and selling copyright video is a serious
