The parkway Drive-in was built by Barry Allen. He is currently the President of Premier Operating Corporation Limited and was of Odeon Theatres in 1965. Located near the intersection of Woodbine and Steeles, the Parkway Drive In was the last new drive-in built in the greater Toronto Area. It was sold for an industrial development and subsequently closed in 1987. This picture was taken from a small plane in 1975, and is a unique birds eye view of the surrounding area at that time.
