When it opened in 1934 the Casino Theatre was the only vaudeville Theatre of its kind. Located near the corner of Bay and Queen, the Casino was famous for such acts as Hohnny Ray, Kay Starr, Robert Alda, Watters, Harry Jones and Harry Belefante. Due to competition and the public's changing tastes, the Casino Theatres closed in the mid 1960's.
